Let’s face it, that was not the most exciting race of the year.
In fact, it ensured the race ended with a whimper instead of a bang.
The biggest bang came from the spectacular fireworks that were set off at the end of the race.
That’s not to say the race didn’t have it’s moments. It did, one or two, but that was it. Continue reading
So, welcome to yet another ‘Ferrari’ special edition of the Funniest Tweet Awards, where the Black Sea resort of Sochi provided the perfect backdrop for yet another Ferrari strategy to float off into the distance.
It started so well, as well.
But then it went to pieces and it played beautifully into the hands of Twitter who went into overdrive with funny tweets.
So here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweets for the Ferrari edition of the Russian Grand Prix Funniest Tweet Awards:
Another Grand Prix, another great race.
Not as frantic as recent races have been, granted, but that didn’t mean we didn’t have a race on our hands.
I was inundated with so many hilarious tweets it made choosing just 10 very, very difficult indeed.
But judge them I did, so here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Russian Grand Prix 2019: Continue reading
Oh. My. God! What a race!
Did you all enjoy that?
For the third race running we’ve been treated to an absolute blinder, and this time we had the added bonus of rain.
Hockenheim 2019 will certainly go down in the history books as one of the best. And, if this is to be the last German Grand Prix, for a while at least, it certainly went out with a bang! (In some cases, literally)
But without further ado, here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards fof the German Grand Prix 2019: Continue reading
For the second race in a row, all I can say is: “WOW!” How was that for a thrilling race? Full of wheel-to-wheel racing up and down the field. Sure, there were a few spills along the way, but that … Continue reading
What. A. Race.
Hands up if you agree 🙋
What a difference seven days makes.
After last week’s bore-fest at Paul Ricard to 71 thrilling laps round the Red Bull Ring with a glut of wheel-to-wheel racing.
From lights out when Verstappen stalled and went backwards there was certainly no lack of action.
I certainly needed a cup of tea after that race before I could even think about judging this week’s Funniest Tweet Awards.
There were, as always, so many hilarious tweets I had a very difficult job to whittle them down to 10.
But judge them I did. So, without further ado, here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Austrian Grand Prix 2019
“Well that was a dull, uneventful race, with no controversy whatsoever!” said no F1 fan ever, after watching the Canadian Grand Prix 2019.
Is it any wonder that this week’s judging of the Funniest Tweet Awards was so difficult?
But, judge them I most certainly did and here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Canadian Grand Prix 2019: Continue reading
Let’s be honest, that’s not going to go down as the greatest race in history. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a complete bore-fest. We had one virtual safety car courtesy of Gasly, one minor incident with Ricciardo and Kvyat … Continue reading
