Let’s face it, that was not the most exciting race of the year.
In fact, it ensured the race ended with a whimper instead of a bang.
The biggest bang came from the spectacular fireworks that were set off at the end of the race.

OK, let’s face it, today’s race wasn’t as crazy as last week’s German Grand Prix, but it still provided some great racing.
And aside from all the on-track action there were, as always a plethora of funny tweets. As always, very difficult to judge, but judge I have.

Hands up if you agree 🙋
What a difference seven days makes.
After last week’s bore-fest at Paul Ricard to 71 thrilling laps round the Red Bull Ring with a glut of wheel-to-wheel racing.
From lights out when Verstappen stalled and went backwards there was certainly no lack of action.
I certainly needed a cup of tea after that race before I could even think about judging this week’s Funniest Tweet Awards.
There were, as always, so many hilarious tweets I had a very difficult job to whittle them down to 10.
