I don’t know about you, but that was quite an exciting race.
Yes, I’ll admit it have the craziness that we had in Italy, but there was on-track action, power issues, and a safety car thrown into the mix. The rain threat didn’t materialise, aside from a few spots early-ish in the race.
There was, as ever a plethora of funny tweets. They have now been judged and without further ado, here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Eifel Grand Prix 2020: Continue reading
The earlier rain made for a damp and greasy track for the start of today’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
Crashing on his way to the grid, it was thanks to the hard work of his Red Bull engineers that Max Verstappen even started the race.
As the lights went out, the grid mixed up significantly.
Maybe still not as exciting as the Austria, but better than Styria, the Hungarian Grand Prix provided some great tweets.
After a cup of tea, I have finally decided on a top 10.
This week’s Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Hungarian Grand Prix are as follows: Continue reading
Well, after 217 days the wait was finally over.
At 2:10 this afternoon it was indeed ‘lights out and away we go’ for the 2020 Formula 1 season.
And boy, was it worth the wait.
No one, absolutely no one could have predicted what would happen this afternoon.
Crazy race and on top of that, I felt very much like I was struggling on the return to school as my Twitter timeline was overwhelmed with an influx of super funny tweets.
So, without further ado, here is the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Austrian Grand Prix: Continue reading
Oh. My. God! What a race!
Did you all enjoy that?
For the third race running we’ve been treated to an absolute blinder, and this time we had the added bonus of rain.
Hockenheim 2019 will certainly go down in the history books as one of the best. And, if this is to be the last German Grand Prix, for a while at least, it certainly went out with a bang! (In some cases, literally)
But without further ado, here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards fof the German Grand Prix 2019: Continue reading
What. A. Race.
Hands up if you agree 🙋
What a difference seven days makes.
After last week’s bore-fest at Paul Ricard to 71 thrilling laps round the Red Bull Ring with a glut of wheel-to-wheel racing.
From lights out when Verstappen stalled and went backwards there was certainly no lack of action.
I certainly needed a cup of tea after that race before I could even think about judging this week’s Funniest Tweet Awards.
There were, as always, so many hilarious tweets I had a very difficult job to whittle them down to 10.
But judge them I did. So, without further ado, here are the Top 10 Funniest Tweet Awards for the Austrian Grand Prix 2019
Boy, did I need a cup of tea after that race! Monaco isn’t normally known for producing exciting races, but this year, although not spectacular, there was a lot of jostling, incidents and bum clenching as to whether tyres would … Continue reading
Well, do you think the 1000th Formula 1 race was worth getting up for? Aside from a couple of moments, to be honest, it wasn’t the best race this season. Still, this did not stop you from producing some brilliantly … Continue reading
Hands up who thought that was a cracker of a race? Not so much a duel in the desert but all out combat in the desert. I don’t think there was anywhere on that grid where jostling for position and … Continue reading
Did you enjoy that? After 111 days, F1 is back! Under a sunny, blue Melbourne sky it was quite exciting wasn’t it? WOW! What a performance by Valtteri Bottas and following his admission that he had porridge for breakfast, expect … Continue reading
